Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How will my order be shipped?
    For large stock orders we aim to deliver within 10 days, in practise, it is usually much quicker. If you require something immediately we will do our best to meet your request. You say jump, we say how high!
  2. What services do you provide?

  3. How long will it take you to ship my order?
    For large stock orders we aim to deliver within 10 days. However, if you require something urgently we will always do our best to meet your request.
  4. How much do you charge for shipping?
    We charge £8 per parcel. This includes the cost of postage, packing and insurance.
  5. Do you insure your parcel?
    Yes. We post all items Royal Mail Special Delivery. Items are insured to a value of £2,500 excluding VAT. Where an order exceeds this total, the order will be split into an appropriate number of parcels.
  6. What are your payment terms?
    Payment becomes due at the end of the month following the month of invoice.
  7. How can I pay?
    You can simply post a cheque to us, alternatively you can make a payment online or by telephone direct to our account. Account details are included on our invoices and statements.
  8. What if I’m not happy with the goods received?
    This rarely happens! Please do call us to discuss your concerns first. However, to provide a sense of peace of mind, we promise that we will cancel your invoice if you: 1. return the goods within a week of receipt, 2. return the goods in the condition they left our premises.
  9. I’d like to see a copy of your Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Goods, please could you provide me with one?
    We are happy to send you a copy in the post - please call us on 01460 281 496 to request a copy. Alternatively please go to our ‘Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Goods’ online.
  10. I’d like to leave feedback for you, where can I do that?
    We welcome any feedback you’d like to give us! Please use the form provided on the ‘Contact Us’ page.
  11. What are your opening hours?
    We are open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). We close for a brief period over Christmas, usually from Christmas Eve through until just after New Year’s Day. Please contact us for exact dates.
  12. How can I contact you?

  13. Do your prices include stringing?
    Yes, all our prices include stringing.
  14. Do you provide a restringing service?
    Yes, we do. Please see our ‘Services’ page for more details.
  15. What clasps do you use?
    We have variety of clasps (trigger, lobster, magnetic etc) in silver, 9ct and 18ct, yellow and white gold. For the most part we string to order and you can select the clasps that are used for your items.
  16. What material do you use to string the pearls?
    We string our pearls in silk in the smaller sizes, anything over 9mm we put on a synthetic thread because it stretches less.
